User:Colin Raffel

I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at labROSA. Prior to starting my PhD, I worked as a contractor for a number of companies and research firms, focusing mainly on music information retrieval and computational audio analysis. I also recently completed a Master's in Music, Science and Technology at Stanford's CCRMA. In 2009 I graduated from Oberlin College with a Math major and a Physics minor. My main interest lies in creating hardware and software systems which help computers hear and act more like humans and help humans make better music.
