Introduction
These are the results for the 2006 running of the Score Following task set. For background information about this task set please refer to the Score Following page.
The aim of the Score Following task is the real-time alignment of incoming music signals to the music "score." In this task, 46 recordings and their corresponding MIDI representations of the score were used in the evaluation. These 46 excerpts were extracted from 4 distinct musical pieces. The algorithms were evaluated on their precision in matching events in the audio to the score.
