As the Team Lead at Purdue’s AI for Musicians Lab, Ojas has led innovations in automatic music transcription—enhancing Google’s MT3 model, developing a MIREX-adopted evaluation framework, and organizing a nationwide challenge with IEEE. He also leads robotics AI efforts at Astrobotics, where he collaborates with NASA and Vast to design intelligent, vision-based systems for satellite servicing in space.&lt;br /&gt;

Ojas brings industry experience from Qualcomm, where he optimized computer vision models for edge deployment, and from Arizona State University, where he fine-tuned LLMs to better interpret ambiguous English queries using standardized test datasets. He’s also a core developer for Huddle, a mobile startup app supporting 8,500+ college students through housing, event aggregation, and personalized academic tools.
